Sharky competed in her first US Classics in 3 years! She performed on vault, bars and beam but sat out floor as she had a broken toe! She broke it earlier in the week but was determined to compete at Classics. Her scores were vault: 8.466 Bars: 7.600 and Beam: 8.433 Congrats, Sharky! Photos coming very soon!

Sharky has sent us a new diary. Next weekend Sharky is competing at the Friendship Classic in Pottsville, PA. Sharky will be one out of a team from Parkettes attending the meet. GOOD LUCK SHARKY! We will hopefully have photos and videos from the meet soon. Today some new avatars were added.

Results from the Cancun Classic and Parkettes Invitational are now up along with a collection of photos from when Sharky was younger. Sharky has sent us some new photos from her birthday/Christmas celebrations and from Cancun!

Last night Sharky performed on bars and beam at the 2005 Parkette Invitational. She has a very slightly pulled muscle and it was thought best to rest it so early in the season. She scored 8.95 for bars and an impressive 9.3 on beam, well done, Sharky! The night before Sharky just competed beam at the Elite Qualifier.

Sorry the website has not been updated in a while. Sharky's recovery is going well and she hopes to be back to full fitness soon. They say bad things happen in three's, so this is hopefully it for Sharky injury wise!!! Sharky was in Nashville last weekend for the National Championships and was able to watch Team mates Tia and Nicole make Olympic Trials, congrats girls!! The rest of the year is quiet, summer training, rebuilding routines and adding to bars (Sharky is working on a new 10SV bar routine!) so you can expect some new skills next season!

We are soooooo sorry that the website has been down for so long! The old server crashed and it's taken us ages to rebuild it. Unforunately, Sharky did not compete at the US Classics due to another injury, the third year in a row! She has a stress fracture in her knee but luckily it is getting stronger all the time. As you can imagine this is devestating for Sharky so please, sign her guestbook with some kind words!

Sharky competed at the Parkettes Zone meet yesterday. Only doing bars, Sharky scored 8.45 from her new SV of 9.5. She unfortuantely hit her feet on her pack but hopefully all the errors will be ironed out in time for US Classics in May!

On Friday night Sharky competed in Ontario, California at the American Classic. Going fall-free on all events, she had a few minor errors here and there and placed 18th AA.

Congratulations to Sharky and her Parkettes team-mates!! As part of the 'A' team, Sharky won the gold medal in the team event at last night's Parkette Invite! Although she had errors on beam, Sharky was strong on the other three events, scoring 9.6 with her new floor routine! Full results will be added soon!

We now have more info on last Friday nights qualifier at Hills. Sharky won the Senior qualifier, with Blair Ryland coming second. Sharky and Blair were the only two girls in the whole meet to qualify to International status! Scoring 9.0 on vault and floor, Sharky performed the bar routine of her life to earn her 8.75 out of 9.4 SV, way to go Sharky! There are three new photos from this event.

Last week Sharky underwent surgery to relieve liquid behind her knee cap. The condition which Sharky has had since birth means that too much liquid builds up behind her knee cap and the doctor inserted a couple of small holes to drain off the excess. The procedure was a complete success and Sharky will resume full time training very soon!

Sharky and her family would like to clear up the rumours regarding Sharky's status. Someone has falsely said that Sharky has broken her other leg. We can confirm that this is absolutely not true. There is a slight injury to the meniscus of the leg she did not break before Classics but it is a very minor injury that is being kept under observation but may not even require any further treatment! Sharky took it easy at training last week but has resumed full training this week! Sharky would like to thank everyone for their support when they thought she was injured.

Sharky was in Milwaukee this weekend to watch her team mates compete at Nationals. Congrats to team mates Tia Orlando and Geralen Stack Eaton who sucessfully made the National Team and better luck next time to Alex and Annie who had some errors and didn't manage to make the top ten. A new journal written by Sharky before she went was added today.

There is some good news regarding Sharky's injury. She is now allowed off her crutches and can put a small amount of weight on the leg, which means she is now able to train more! This is great news for Sharky who has hated being able to do bearly anything!! Today on the websites a cool new feature, jigsaw puzzles was added, enjoy them!

Unfortunately, there is some bad news. On Tuesday, whilst training on floor at Parkettes, Sharky landed a 2/1 front awkwardly and was instantly in agonizing pain. Taken straight to the doctors, an MRI scan was inconclusive. However, Sharky has been back twice since Tuesday and the diagnosis is now confirmed: a fractured tibia and evullsions (where the muscle rips away from the bone, taking bone chips with it). Sharky is most likely out for the rest of the season, and is unable to compete at US Classics this weekend and earn a spot to Nationals!! As you can understand, this is a hard time for Sharky so please sign her get well soon book and make her smile!

Congrats to Sharky who won 3 medals at last night's Friendship Classic. She won the silver medal on vault behind Russian Maria Kryuchkova. On beam she was third behind Kryuchkova and Aiken's Grace Taylor, and floor was also bronze behind Kryuchkova and Kayla Hoffman! Well done Sharky!!

Sharky's time table has taken a surprise turn! Sharky will now be competing at the Friendship Classic along with Parkettes team mates Annie Fogerty and Geralen Stack-Eaton. Also attending the meet will be gymnasts from Russia, Romania, Great Britain, Australia and many more.

This weekend Sharky competed in Massaschusetts at the American Classic, the first of two competitions acting as qualifiers to the National Championships. After some errors on bars, Sharky came in 13th, just three spots off qualifying. However, she gets a second chance at US Classics in May, and things are looking good. The good news is that Sharky came 3rd on floor, her first medal at a National event! Congrats Sharky. She also got to compete two events in the Team Cup, vault and floor. Way to go, Sharky!!

Last night Sharky competed at the National Podium Meet. She performed well on vault but had errors on floor and beam. On bars Sharky debuted a new routine but unfortunately all did not go to plan and a couple of falls meant she scored just 6.15. However, Sharky is putting it behind her and is now looking forward to competing at next month's American Classics up in Boston. As with last weekend's WOGA Classic, the 2003 Parkette Invitational is doubling as an elite qualifier. This evening Sharky won the all around in optional component of the elite zone with an all around score of 34.950. This result means that Sharky has again qualified as an junior international elite and is eligible to compete in the qualifying events for the 2003 USA Championships.
